    very cheaply made, but convincing from 30 feet away. will last a few times. got it cheap, so no complaints from me.

    The nun outfit was perfect for a nun in "The Sound of Music". It was easy to get in and out of during the production.

  • One size doesnt really fit all

    For the money this wasnt a bad costume. I am a woman who carries most of her weight around the middle so I chose this costume because it seemed a loose fitting garment and claimed to be a one size fits all. It is a stretchy fabric so it did indeed STRETCH around my 34 inch waist, but I looked ridiculous..more like a black bowling ball than a nun. I would note that I am NOT obese..just apple shaped and in the upper end of "normal" weight range for my height. The fabric was lightweight and did not ravel on unfinished edges so I ended up slitting up the sides and wore black pants and top underneath. It got me by. The bib portion tended to not stay in place so I think a real nun would not be pleased with her appearance. If you are relatively slim like the model in the photo, this would be a great inexpensive costume..just plan to use two sided tape or pins or something to keep the bib in place.
