Arrived quickly and undamaged. Costume sized too small as most costumes seem to be.

This is the first time I was truly disappointed. Granted, I generally purchase the high-end costumes on here, but this one is a waste of money. The size is wayyyy off! I am usually a Medium, but purchased a large, just in case. I cannot fit the costume around my chest or on my arms. Luckily, it is a cheap one, so I can cut it up and use some pieces of it. The measurements on the size chart are worthless.
I have bought several costumes from this company and this is my first big disappoinment. The costume is not true to size. It runs small. The upper arms were very narrow but the sleeve was very long the velcrow closures in the back are scratchy and do not stay closed. very poorly made costume.

This is the fourth costume I have bought from BuyCostumes. Usually I purchase the high-end, expensive costumes, but this time I just needed a cheap one for the office. The one thing that is true for all costumes so far is that they are never true to size. However, this one is the worst. I am true size 8 and given previous experiences, purchased a size L. I cannot even close the costume on my back, because I do have a larger bust. Plus, the waist is up really high (I am only 5'3"), so it is also not the most flattering costume, making me look as if I am either really fat, or pregnant. The arms are also way too tight. There is no way that I can wear this at all. It seems that all costumes here are made for tiny women, i.e. the models in the pictures who wear them. I am not overweight and yet, I seriously am wondering if I should shop in the plus size section next time, in order to be able to have a comfortable fit around the bust and arms! You guys need to start making costumes that actually fit the measurements you put in the size charts!!
