I wore this for halloween 2011. I ordered a large by accident - the skirt wasn't really a problem as it has a stretchable elastic band but the top was made for someone who has a bigger chest so I exchanged it for a medium and had the same problem so I took the top to a seamstress before my big night. I LOVED how the costumes looked and felt i never had so many compliments/fun in a costume before it's so unique. The skirt being short didn't bother me I liked it that way however I did have to wear black spandex shorts underneath as it's see through - and it's usually a bit more than I spend but I loved it on the model and i decided to get it. For an almost $200 costume it doesn't say how to attach the fan on the package but on the ad on this website it didn't make sense at all so I ended up using a lot safety pins to hold it up I ended up losing a few feathers from the skirt but I ordered some online to glue them back together. I don't regret this purchase.

Wore this costume to our halloween party on the weekend and LOVED it. I could tell from the pic it was going to be super short so i ordered the purple petticoat to go underneath it which i feel was VERY necessary. Of course glitter came off, thats what glitter does... but there's so much on there it doesn't matter. A few feathers also came out of the skirt, but i just glued them back on and added some extra as well. I also added some feathers to the front of the corset to soften the top. As for the fan, there are loops on the side of the corset and ribbon enclosed. You need to loop the ribbon around the plastic strips that make the fan and then through the loops and tie it back underneath itself. Yes, instructions should have been given, but not too hard to work out and it stayed up all night. I think it fit me really well, but its definitely made for someone with a large chest.

I highly agree with some of the other reviews here. I'm about 5'2 and weigh about 115 pounds. I am in good shape and on the larger size in the chest area. The size small costume I ordered fits snug, with the exception of the chest area. I definetely have to wear a push up bra to fill in the corset. Also, there are no directions on how to attach the feather fan to the back of the corset. I had to create my own solution with a ribbon and several safety pins.

This costume is really cute. It was too big however, especially in the breasts. Tightening the back of the costume does not help. The bottom is way to short for comfort. Had i known this i would have purchased something to go under at the same time. I have had a few feathers fall out already off the back piece while trying to figure out where to put it. This piece is not conected to the costume and it has no direction of how to put it on. When you pay 200 bucks for a costume you would expect to get what is in the picture alteast. In this case you do not. I still will love the costume.... as long as i find a way to connect the back piece, I mean for 200 bucks i shouldnt have to worry about if there is a place to put this where the feathers will stay up. If anyone knows how to put it i still have no idea and would love to know! Thats the only reason i bought this costume was for the back

I love the design. Corset makes you look very slimming and pretty feathers with glittery tutu. Definitely a unique and sexy costume.
