This costume looks great. The sleeves were a little tight in the forearms. I ordered medium and am a size 6/8. Also you cant tell from the picture but the back just has a small piece of velcro so it gaps open if you don't fix it with something or you need to wear an undershirt with it. Overall, I am very happy with it. I bought it for a Thanksgiving feast day at my daughter's school and everyone really liked it.

It tied in the back, but other than that everything was great. My kids at school loved it and I just wore it over the clothes I had on that day for our feast. Fun!!

Pilgrim Costume

This was the best Pilgrim costume I could locate online. The initial problem was that there are two ties in the back (like a child's costume), which I removed and replaced with a black zipper. While I have other costumes of better quality (Rennaisance & Roman), this costume is average quality, but acceptable. When I wore it, however, I received a lot of attention and compliments. I intend to wear it again, and would recommend it (assuming one replaces the ties with a zipper).

Great Costume

I purchased the Pilgram Woman costume a couple of years ago and loved the costume. I teach kindergarten and we dress up for Thanksgiving each year. The kids loved it! What I did not like was the open "Hospital Gown" back. I wore a black dress under the costume but that was a little bulky and hard to manage. This year I decided to put a zipper in. I sewed a 24 in. sweater & jacket zipper in the back so that it was long enough and sturdy enough to hold up. It was great! Very easy to do and no more "Hospital Gown"!

Thanksgiving Fun

I purchased this costume to wear to work prior to thanksgiving. I was slightly disappointed in the back of the dress because it was a huge opening all up and down the back and the only closure was a tie at the top, at the back of the neck. I did wear a black shirt underneath, but I didn't feel overly comfortable with the back the way it was. It would have been nicer to have it made more like a real dress that you would wear, not some child's costume. I did receive a lot of nice comments, but it was not the most comfortable costume like others I have purchased through this site.
