I bought this for my husband to wear to a pirate-themed party, and he tied for the best costume prize! There aren't many plus-size costumes for men that are truly plus-size - I bought the 3X for my husband, and it fit well. He's a 54 chest - the 3X states it's for 56-68" chest - but I think the 2X would have been too small. The belt was the perfect size for his 50-52" waist, but it had a weak velcro attachment, so I had to safety pin the belt ends together to keep it from popping off. The jabot was almost too short for his 18 1/2 inch neck, I would have preferred if it was longer, but it worked well enough. Overall, this was a good quality costume for a costume-in-a-bag. My husband did theater in high school, and he said it was theatrical quality.

pretty good fit...3X was right for me 56" chest had to buy the hat boot covers and sword estra...whole thing cost me abouyt 130...decent quality...coat is very thin...pants are very thin but styretchy and biiiiig but with elastic so...the belt was just barely big enough for my 48 waist coat covers your butt but doesnt come all the way around shirt is sewn into the coat not a real shirt..didnt know how to tie the jabot...doh... the hat was almost as much as the costume but totally neccessary the best part of the costume

the normal size pirate was a better looking costume but however this one will work but the smaller ones are fully doen front and back not just the front.

Good costume for the price

I wear a 42 pants and usually fit into a 52 jacket size; so I ordered the 3XL costume size. It was a bit snug in the shoulders, but overall a good fit. Pants are HUGE, but thankfully has an elastic waist. The belt is has a single velcro closure and seems rather loose - I may try to find a velcro adhesive tab to add so I can tighten the belt a little. The belt is just for looks, not to hold up your pants. I did attach a photo of me wearing it.
