I ordered two for my daughters. I got a 4T and it fit my 5 year old ok, but a little short. Gonna just put her some legging under. I also got a 2T for my 1 year old she will be 2 on July 7 so this size is just right for her body type, however, it fit her really big so I need to sew the suit a little because its like literally falling off her. Its ok since I only got them for my sons 4th birthday party on June 25th. Plus, the girls loved them and they cant wait to wear them.

i bought this costume as a fun addition to our dress up collection. i was shocked when i opened a 'naughty pirate' costume for toddlers. it is off the shoulder and way too short. of course, my daughter saw it before i could throw it out and insists on wearing it. my sister thought it was a 'st paulie girls' costume...sort of comical, but i have a sense of humor.

My 20-month old daughter wore the 2T size for Halloween this year. She enjoyed wearing it and didn't fuss with the lace underskirts at all which I was worried about. We had to safety pin the top as it was much too large for her but she didn't mind. We didn't even try the headpiece because we knew she would just rip it off. I was surprised to see that the headpiece was just a piece of striped fabric - no fasteners or anything. I guess we would have had to tie it around her head and knot it?
