Title: Not a great design

The simple fact..... not designed to fit well and stay on top of your head if you plan to move....at all. Looks great, and is a decent deal... just a very shallow but wide depth that doesn't hold it on your head..... it's a shame because unless I use it for still photographs it's useless.

Title: Not quite what I needed

This hat WAS a little shallow, and I needed silver, not gold trim. Also, this hat does NOT come with a plume, so if you want a big fluffy feather, you'll have to buy it elsewhere and sew it on. The gold trim can be removed easily without marring up the hat or removing any seams. I replaced it with silver store bought trim in a matter of minutes without any problems. Kind of loose on my head, but fits my husband's rather well. The wire frame can be warped into a "kink" that is hard to remove. The thick velvet like fabric has a nice, very black finish, but tends to pick up lint and hair. Easily removed with a lint brush. Overall, though, a pretty good product, if a little pricier than I'd wanted.
