love hate relationship
Let me start off by saying I got this costume on sale super cheap ($25). If I had not gotten it that cheap I would have been seriously dissapointed. I have ordered this brand before and usually all the accessories come sealed in plastic bags, and none of the accessories included here were. Also one of the lace sleeves was torn and the elastic was so stretched out it was useless which leads me to believe this costume had been previously returned. I was kinda peeved about that but I decided I could still use the dress without the sleeves since they are not attatched. That being said, I love the dress!! The fit is amazing. They only beef I have with it is that the dress is acutally sewn together half way through and the gold running down the front does not line up so it is crooked (if you look really close you can see it in the pic I used). When I put the belt on it was less noticeable so I am just going to deal with it and hope noone else notices. Also just to note, I am 5 feet even and the dress barely covered my bum. (I will definately be wearing hot pants underneath). If you are tall you would have serious issues with flashing. The hat was pretty much worthless to me, it was so small it barely fit my 4 year old, and it was pretty much smashed. The boot covers are nice. They are made of a thick velvety material and fit perfectly. I am not planning on using them (I am gonna use the bandit boot available seperately), but if you wanted to use them you certainly could, they are nice quality. The belt is just a standard pleather belt but it fit nice and looks okay. So overall I feel that I paid pretty much for the dress & belt and nothing else. LIke I said, for the price I paid I am okay with that but if I had paid full price I would have returned it, but for 25 bucks I will steam clean it and rock it next halloween!!
