We have always loved all costumes purchased from this site however, not the case with this one. This was the most poor quality I have ever seen. The material is literally paper thin and wrinkles would not come out. The hat was folded up in the package and also paper thin material with wire rimmed. You have to fold it into place and even then, looks wrinkled and terrible. My daugher was in tears as was not at all as shown online. The vest with attached blouse was sloppy and did not fit well at all and did not look like a pirate honestly. We are retuning and went to a local Halloween store for a better pirate costume. I have to say, next time will take reviews more to heart before I buy.

This costume was very cheap and poor quality. It has snags in the shirt like someone had worn it before. The color of it was not the same as it was on the internet. I was not happy with this product at all.

This looked so cute online but just didn't work for us. I had to return it. My daughter is 10 years old and a size 12 and this was way too small. the sizing for this is 10/12 but i would say it more for a firm 10 size. The picture shows 3 or 4 buttons on the top of the jacket that do not actually button but are for show but ours was not like that. we didn't have any buttons on top but there were some on the bottom of the jacket that were for looks only. There is a lttle half shirt that im sure is supposed to cover their whole belly and meet at the waist(pants) but it was like an attached sports bra for my daughter leaving her belly completely exposed and the shoulder belt didn't fit around her like the picture either. im sure if the size was right it would have been more like the pic but it just didn't work for her. We exchanged this costume for a different pirate costumes to try and even jumped up to the tween size for her. We have always and will continue to purchase from buycostume.com. this is the only time i have ever had to return/exchange an item. I think my little girl is no longer a little girl and we just need to bump up to the next size group(tween). I gave it 3 stars though because i did find the price a little high but purchased it anyways. It was what she liked the most, and i thought the pants, shirt sleeves were way too thin. The sleeves were even see through. Someone else may have better luck with this one.

Great Costume. I did not have to buy anything extra to complete it. It is very comfortable and functional. To form the hat correctly, fold upward on the seams.
Flimsy, thin and poorly made. Did NOT look like the online photo at all...The hat is awkward and uneven. The price is outrageous for the quality...I'm going to have spend even more money to shop locally for additions to the costume so it won't look so cheap and embarrassing.
