    i got it and the braids came apart. looks just like yarn and the hat is soft, not a hard shell as i thought it look like in the picture.

  • Purchased this jacket separate and pirate hat separate, did our own makeup. Made his shirt and added cuffs to jacket. Ruffles are on a dickie I made by cutting up a white shirt and putting collar on backwards and added basted ruffles to shirt panel- took about 1/2 hour to make. Was a hit at the party and he had a great time.
