My dog is a bit overweight, and as such is always a difficult fit. That being said, I was able to make this costume work for her annual Halloween photos, but it took a little work. For one thing, I had to use a couple of lapel pins (turned inward to look like buttons) to help hold the fabric together. The back of one popped off in the grass, and I never did find it. I also had to stuff the hat full of tissues to make it stand up so it could be read. It was flat and floppy otherwise. Of course, I had to hide this fact from my dog, who loves to eat tissues. Imagine the look on her face when she batted the hat off at one point and discovered my secret! But as I said, it made for some very cute pictures, and that is really all I was expecting. The quality of the material was excellent, and it made for a very nice, respectable doggy disguise.
