they didnt accept my last review of this costume. the hat isnt big enough, the shirt did not fit, there is no option for a 2x size. going to purchase the accessories separately and put it all together myself.

Looks way better than I expected. Had my husband wear it and it was great watching heads turn. Looks way more realistic than a costume should. Again very durable and well made. Picture is actualy acurate.

Great Costume!

I recently purchased this costume for a village people stunt where I was to play the police man. The quality of this uniform is very good. Everything is as shown in the picture except the belt. The belt I got was just plain black.... not with the holes in it like the one pictured. I do agree with the previous reviewer about the belt too.... it is sized for someone with a 60 inch waist. You will probably need to make your own hole then tuck in the rest or cut it off. There was also one reviewer that mentioned that the product they received did NOT have an American flag on the arm opposite the rank, but mine DID. The pants are elastic waist like the previous reviewer suggested, so that made it hard to wear the belt, but at the last minute I ended up wearing very dark blue denim jeans and the outfit looked great. The cheapest thing about the whole costume is the hat. It's more "bus driver" than police officer.... but it still worked. It's a little flimsy and hardly holds the metal badge though. I lowered my badge a little towards the brim and that worked great.

The shirt and badges were great, looked great and fit well. The pants had no belt loops and no draw string to adjust and tighten. The belt held the pants up only by friction and tended to slide off. I finally changed to a pair of my own navy blue slacks which worked much better. The handcuffs were fun as well the night stick. The belt was long enough for someone with about a 60 " waist. It could be much shorter and have more holes. I am 280 pounds and stll had to punch a whole at least 4 or 5 inches further into the belt to make it work. I know guns are not politicly correct, but it needed at least a holster with a gun but to make it look real. I was very frustrated with the pants and belt, and the hat had wrinkles which I was never able to get out. These were in both the main part and the brim. If it had been packed better these could have been eliminated.
