This is cool and easy to hang. It's sound activated and it has just the right amount of evil laughter.

Based on previous reviews I expected a better quality item. The plastic framing is molded but it is a cheap, soft plastic. Other Halloween pictures I have bought with effects have had hard molded plastic and have a much "richer" look. Also, the picture itself looks like a giant sticker. If you are going for decorating items that are as realistic as possible this is not the item for you. I will keep this and put it up the day of my party when the lights are dim and the poor quality is trumped by the actual effect.

and you can change the photograph and you one of your own....we shall see how it holds up for the night of the party!
The picture does what it's supposed to.. it swings and makes noise.. but the quality of the picture is really, really bad. The frame was broken in 3 corners.. the picture itself wasn't even stuck on the frame thing properly.. it was warped and bubbly. It even looked like someone had repaired one section of the frame with sticky tape and painted over it to try to hide it. We tried to fix the picture, but gave up.. and removed the mechanism from the frame and attached it to a 'gortrait' style picture of Jesus we had found in an op shop. So, it worked out ok for us.

This portrait does swing back in forth and laughs as promised. However, you had better have it in a very dark place and have lots of glue to fix it when you get it. The plastic frame is very thin and the picture is very thin and is just paper glued on to the plastic. It kept peeling off when I got it and I had to reglue it. It works but you can tell it is just a piece of paper glued to plastic. It is not anywhere near as good quality as the Gortraits and they are just plastic too. I say save your money and purchase a Gortrait. The motion is not worth the extra money. I expect it will break on me soon.
