I bought this "Bag" for a prisioner costume and it was cute just to look at but definitly not something you could use as a bag or purse. It's made of cheap plastic that apparently is supposed to hold together by a little platic clasp. I glued and taped it back together but was not even able to put anything in it. (and i'm a handy woman) If you need a bag or purse for this outfit try finding a cotton or soft ball and chain bag. I didn't check but maybe the black one they sell is

the kids had fun with these but we had to tape them together after the first ten minutes. They would not stay clasped together. The paint chipped off them almost immediately.

I bought this for a convict costume and its just perfect. The first time I opened the purse the clasp broke so I had to super glue the thing shut. It's not really flimsy plastic so I think it will hold up for a night. It's a must for a jail costume!

This "handbag" is just darling, however, it's a petite little thing. My daughter used it for her cell phone, lipstick and folding brush. The clasp is a little fussy but held on through the day.

I got this ball and chain handbag to go with my Ghostly Gal costume, and I am so glad I did. It really completed the look, and I didn't have to carry a purse that could ruin the effect of the costume. I received so many compliments on the handbag alone. The only draw back is that it can't carry anything too heavy. I only had a lipstick, lipliner, pack of gum, ID, and credit card. It only opened once, and I was dancing. But nothing fell out cause it has elastic to keep it from fully opening. This is a great accessory.
