Following the directions I got a look that was pretty convincing, at least at first or from across the room. People who saw my photos thought I had shaved my head. The forehead part is great but it's tougher to get it right around the sideburns and ears. The hardest part is the back where there was a lot of excess rubber and it didn't go down far enough to seal below my neckline. Due to the lack of seal on the back it tended to slip upward and create wrinkles along the top. I would just tug it backward before making an entrance or taking a photo, and all was well. The key is really to trim it correctly but it still might not cover your sideburn-ear and neck areas perfectly. Also, my hair (which is pretty light) showed through the cap but I suppose you can work around that by applying more makeup. This kit was really worth it because spirit gum, liquid latex, and the makeup were all necessary.

The product I used was great quality for the most part! IT was a little tricky getting it cut around the ears with out it tearing. Fairly easy to put on but a the make up I had really didnt want to stick to the material! Would recomend with right makeup!

The bald cap went on fairly easy. Need to be careful when applying the liquid latex to make the seam disappear. Go slow and let try between applications and don't put on too thick.

I was Asajj Ventress for Halloween 2008. She is bald - I am not. So I bought this cap to look bald - and boy did I! I took it to my hairdresser to put on as I am not good working on my own hair - she only charged me $10 to put it on and she worked on it for 1 hour. I have medium length, naturally curly hair that is dyed a dark brown with blond highlights. I tell you that because when you first get the cap and put it on, you can see your hair through it. But after the make-up is applied, it looks real. Most people didn't recognize me without my hair. Once they figured out who it was, they had to come touch my head - they couldn't believe I really shaved my head. All were relieved to find out I wasn't really bald. The kit comes with EVERYTHING you need to look bald. I put it on at noon. Around the nape of my neck in the back came unglued a little about 9 that same night from sweating (we had a warm Halloween). Nine hours running around like a mom is fantastic wearability to me! i went to a garage sale, got the kids from school, helped with costumes, got dinner ready, and went to a Halloween party in that time - and it was still 90 degrees here in the desert. This kit is definately worth every penny.
