the dress fit well, i bought a size larger than i normally wear because other reviews said the sizes run small and they were right. the material was of good quality and was sewn well. the hat fit well but kept slipping off.

I ordered this costume for a 1920's themed New Years Eve party. I wanted something glamorous without the fringe that so many associate with the "Flapper" era. I did a little enhancing by adding the feather boa to the shawl and instead of wearing the hat, that came with the costume, I removed the satin and gold flower pin, added feathers and a gold beaded hair clip to create my own headpiece. I ordered in a size XL and it was a perfect fit. My "off the rack" size is a 14 or 16. The neckline is very low but with the right foundation garments it was perfect! Everyone loved the outfit and some of my Facebook Friends even asked where they could find something like it!

Great Costume

Bought the "Gangster" costume for my husband. Our guests had already arrived and he greeted them. He came to the patio door and escorted me out ... we were a hit!! Everybody loved the costume. Fit great, lookd great, quality is great ... buy it, you'll love it.

this runs big. i bought a size larger just in case, however it was three or four sizes too big. i had to get it taken in... it is short in front, but with me not liking to show my knees and frightened of the wind on the harbour, bought a black petticoat taht looks quite nice with it. the diamond on the front is off centre, but i didnt care. there was also a stain on the gold material. the hat is cute.
