Great Wig, Needs TLC

We bought this wig to wear with a Cleopatra outfit, and like most people who ordered this product, we were a tad disappointed when we received it. It wasn't too fuzzy or unwearable, but it definitely wasn't as smooth as the picture. So after some extensive research on the internet, I figured out how to fix it and make it silky smooth. I placed the wig on a wig stand, and sat it in the middle of the bathtub. I sprayed some leave-in conditioner on the wig, and very gently combed it out straight with a wide-tooth comb to get rid of the big tangles. I then gently poured about three pots of boiling water over the wig, carefully brushing the wig down after each pot. I let the wig dry overnight, and after it had dried, I carefully trimmed the bangs and bottom of the wig with scissors to make it even and neat. Voila! A perfectly straight Cleopatra wig. NOTE: Please be careful when trying the above method. I had one other person helping me at all times, and I also made sure that I tested with hot water first (and then progressed to boiling) to make sure I didn't ruin the wig. Use the above method at your own risk. END RESULT: Beautiful wig. Well worth the hour I spent to make it look like the picture.

i bought this for my sister's cleopatra costume. it's a total mess and doesn't look anything like the pic at all. not salvagable. even after brushing and arranging, it was still a wreck. i gave it 2 stars for fun because my dog had a great time playing with it. :)

I purchased this wig based on other reviews claiming the quality was good and how this wasn't your typical type of wig hair. Boy was I disappointed when I opened it and discovered how bad it really was. The hair was all frizzed out and even though I tried to gently brush it down it never came close to lying flat like it does in the picture. The bangs were a crazy mess too. I ended up not wearing it and I wish I had returned it.

The wig comes just as it was described, its easy to wear, of course, as wear any wigs, your head will gets hot, other than that, its fun.
