This costume is great. The material is solid. My son loves the SpeedRacer movie, and I'm having a very difficult time finding SpeedRacer merchandise anywhere. He was thrilled when he saw it, and pretends to be RacerX all day long!

I purchased six costumes this year for my boys online. Was pleased with a few, but very disappointed with others, this one included. The jumpsuit is not what is in the picture. The picture shows a shinny fabric, but actually it is a dull polyester foam fabric, not very exciting. The headpiece is actually a plastic half mask with clear plastic over the eyes making it impossible to wear sunglasses with it. I'm sure my boys would have been happier with the results had we gone into the stores to actually see the products before we purchased, and I'm sure prices would have been equivalent. The descriptions are vague and incorrect. Won't be purchasing online again.

Buyer Beware - Bait and Switch

The photo has changed on the product listing page; but when I ordered it showed the same photo as the one on the front of the costume package. For the price point, and based on the photo and writen description (which only noted that gloves were not included as an indicator of how the product would differ from what is shown) I was expecting: -A head piece shaped and worn like a skull cap, not a plastic half mask. (Additionally, the velcro on the back this "head piece" is not sewn on correctly so that when it is fastened, the strap is twisted.) -A jumpsuit made of a faux-leather material, finished on the collar and sleeves, soft sculpted on the upper arm and forearm. None of the above applies to what I received. Because this is the same quality as something I could find at a discount store, and signifigantly different from what was advertised, the price is easily double what would be reasonable.

Not Impressed !

My son was really excited about ordering this costume, but when it arrived he was pretty disappointed the headpiece is nothing like in the picture it is a half mask piece of plastic that make the costume look awful, The sleeves aren't detailed like in the photo. If my son is going to wear this costume I will need to make a new headpiece and alter the suit for it has a open back. Overall not such a great purchase :(
