I bought this for my husband for a Halloween party.The tam and dreadlocks are realistic and hilarious.

Bought for husband for Halloween party, we found same item in store that was $10 higher plus sales tax, even with shipping it was a lot less. Picture does make it look like it has more dreadlocks however we had already seen in store so knew the difference. Bought whole outfit and like all pieces chosen...good value for all.

The tams came very quickly and I was pleased with the quality, although on some of the dreads there are sharp things in them, will not cut you, but when you feel one you want to pull it out. I ordered 10 for a group dress up, and each tam was a different pattern, I thought that was great!!

I'm pretty sure every costume closet need some dreads. This hat is good -- could be fuller (more dreads), but does what needs to be done. Used it for Bob Marley in a rally for our school.

Soooo. . . we were "Pirates of the Carribean" Dressed in full rat costumes, sporting tropical shirts and sunglasses, wearing the tams and dreadlocks. . .and yes it is stupid, but we also had pies, half eaten pies to be exact, thus "Pie rats of the Carribean" were born. We couldn't have done it without the dreads!!! Won a prize believe it or not.
