Love this costume!
This is my all time favorite Christmas costume! It was slightly different than I expected, but I loved it none the less. I'm a size 18 & I usually order 1X/2X. This costume was much roomier than most Ive ordered from Dreamgirl. I would say order the smaller size unless you want to be swimming in it. It could have fit someone bigger than size 18 & has plenty of stretch in that case.
My only disappointments were that the gloves did fit, but they have elastic on the ends so they made my arms look like they were stuffed into them even though they fit - not flattering. The belt was OK but I opted to change it out with a random belt I had in my closet. The back of the costume is NOT sequined, only the front. However, I think I like the back being plain red - the material wasn't too thin & it made my butt look nice, lol. I have fairly big hips/butt & I still had some extra room at the bottom of the dress, which is unusual with dress patterns but I wouldnt say it made me like the dress any less. So again plenty of room for all the goodies without being too tight.
The sequins on the front are put on very well. I wore this outfit for hours & never lost even 1 of them. Very well made. The matching sequin hat is adorable.
On a side note, ever since my costume arrived my cat has been sleeping in the box it was mailed in. I can't throw it away...So something for everyone this time! Thanks BuyCostumes.com!!
