The whole back of the out fit was falling apart and was all ripped. I bought this for a friend and he has to redesign the whole thing. rather unimpressed

I love Superman. It's a fact. And I loved the idea of this costume. The only problem was that once it arrived, I realized that my idea of an all-together suit jacket, shirt, tie chest combo was in fact a bit flimsy. So I just tweaked it a bit. I cut the chest piece away from the jacket and shirt leaving straps of fabric at the waist and neck to attach it, then took one of my own dress shirts and attached velcro to it. Add in a tie and my own jacket and voila! Instant classy Clark.

Ordered this costume for my husband to go with my Supergirl costume (which was actually very nice), but we were both SORELY dissappointed when it arrived. Cheap and flimsy doesn't even BEGIN to describe it.... the fabric was soooo thin and poorly assembled - it was pathetic. And then there was the sizing... the sleeves were ridiculously short... they didn't even make it to the middle of my husband's forearm! Finally, the centrepiece of the costume, the superman chest, which should have been the best part of the costume, was the WORST! It was made of thin, cheap PLASTIC... no lining or foam or anything, and wasn't exactly moldable to one's body. It was too broad for my slender husband, and when we tried to tie it into place and tighten it, it just puffed out in the middle. We are most certainly returning this item, and I would reccomend anyone else to considering it to save yourself money and time - look for something else!

This costume is a great, fun idea, but unfortunately the poor quality ruins it. The chest piece is actually good quality, but the "shirt and jacket" are of such poor quality, it ruins the overall affect. The first time i tried it on, the back seam and the arm seam ripped. Another reviewer indicated he just used the chest piece with his own shirt and jacket. If i don't return the whole thing, this may be what i do as well. I would not, in hindsight, purchase this or recommend for others.

I bought this for my husband who is a XL size. It fits him well, but the neck is a little tight. Also, it ties in the back and isn't the greatest quality. However, for a guy who wanted to be Superman yet not wear the tights...it was a good option.
