The kids loved it when I showed up in this to announce the school year-end carnival. Read the other review about the ascot and I agree. I got a white scarf at Target to supplement. I ordered a medium and it was WAY too big. The pants don't just balloon at the hips. Plus, I wore it for 5 minutes to announce the upcoming carnival at an assembly, folded and put it away until the following Friday assembly. Got it out and the sleeve seam had come undone. I'll have to fix it before the carnival. For the price it's worth the buy and you totally get the effect. Both kids and adults love the look.

Although I could only buy this costume in a size medium and intended it to be placed on a prop dummy with an evil ringmaster mask, it fits me perfectly! (a true size medium) They used a nice quality fabric and the old ringmaster styling wuth the balloon pants and the long red coat with the black trim is EXACTLY what I was looking for! The only drawback is that, unless you have a small waistline, the velcro that is used to hold the jacket closed is white, not red like the jacket but a little touch up with red fabric paint or a marker should do the trick!

I got a lot of compliments on this costume. However, that was in part due to the wonderful ascot that my wife made to go with the costume. The existing ascot was fairly cheap and looked awful with everything. I highly recommend wrapping a silk scarf around your neck and then just pinning it up right. The hat was a nice touch. But if I had to do the outfit over again, I would have gone without the whip. It was cute at the beginning, but without a place to strap it and no pockets, it got to be quite the burden to carry it around.

This was bought as part of our circus theme and my friend was so amazed at how bright it was. Although their was some stains around the hula hoop rim part it is otherwise a great costume!
