I bought this to have something new for Renaissance Faires and it is really great! I originally ordered a women's (L) but had to return it only because the vest was too small. The women's (XL) is just about right; still a bit snug but then I think it's supposed to be to give that sexy look :-) The blouse is much more yellow-y than it appears in the picture here, but the color is good (sort of buttery yellow) but it is NOT a cream color. The hat & boot tops arrive rather smashed but I am going to fluff them on delicate in the dryer & maybe iron them. Will update if this works (if I remember to!). Haven't worn it yet other than trying it on but will be at end of FEB when our faire starts here.

REALLY GOT A LOT OF COMPLIMENTS ON THIS COSTUME! THE TOP WAS A LITTLE SNUG I WEAR AN 8 SO I ORDERED A MEDIUM AND IT WAS FINE EXCEPT WHEN I ZIPPED THE CORSET PART OF THE TOP IT GOT A LITTLE SNUG! THE BOOT COVERINGS CAME IN TWO DIFFERENT SIZES BUT I MADE DUE BY TUCKING THE BOTTOM OF THEM IN MY BOOTS INSTEAD OF OVER THE TOP OF MY BOOTS... OTHER THAN THAT THE COSTUME WAS GREAT!

I have never written a review before but this purchase required that I do so. I am so happy with this costume. It fits so well and is really nicely constructed. If I have one criticism, it's the hat. It was kind of smooshed and doesn't stand up well. It looks kind of weird. Other than that the little extra things I bought (necklace, eyelashes) were really great as well.

My wife normally wears a size large but the vest was more of a size small. We ended up taking the vest apart and sewing in elastic fabric between the zipper panels and the vinyl sides to let the zippers close. After that was done it fit perfect and looked great. It took about 45 minutes to alter,but the effort was worth it.
