Fun Costume!
I just received this in the mail today and I was impressed. BuyCostumes.com gave me a two week window with the free shipping option that I chose and it came in just 5 days (including the weekend!) All of it was accounted for and packaged nicely. This is an adorable vampire costume but could definitely be used for just a "period" Victorian look too. The sizing was great- I am a size 4 and the small was perfect with room to spare. I am only 5'2" so I need to wear heels too. The only negatives are that the "collar" is very high, maybe because I am on the smaller side, but it is hard to get it to stand up straight and not be "towering" around my face. Good thing is, it folds down completely if I want it to later in the night. But there is no middle ground- really tall or folded all the way down. Also- the red part in front is a little transparent. I may want to wear a slip underneath just in case. It should be so dark that it won't matter but just wanted to voice that. Sleeves and back are a "velvet-like" material. Otherwise- great costume- I am so excited about Halloween! I would get this costume again!
