This year my daughter chose to be Velma from scooby doo. She rocked this costume and absolutely loved it. It was a little big except for the neck part of the top we had to stretch it bc the first time she tried it on it got stuck. overall it was a good experience. And she loved it!

The good news is that this costume is super cute, my daughter loves it, and she really does look like Velma in it. The bad news is that the sweater has absolutely no give in the neck to put it on or take it off, no elasticity at all, so getting it over your head is extremely difficult, and getting it off afterwards is even harder, actually taking a few minutes so as not to hurt my little girl. We're going to have to cut the neck in the back all the way down and put a latch or velcro or something.

The picture of this costume is not nearly the same as what we received. The head hole on the orange shirt had to be cut to fit over my daughters head, there's no hemming on any garments, the glasses that came with it looked like Elvis sunglasses so we had to remove the lenses and the wig is very sloppy and unevenly cut....doesn't stay on her head. We won't be able to use the wig at all. It runs small to size as well and is tight on my little 45lb 7 year old. Honestly you'd be better off buying an ala carte red skirt and orange shirt and creating this look on your own. Other costumes we've purchased here have been great. This one was a disappointment. Should have listened to the other reviews.

I was happy to find this costume... It has the wig, the glasses, the outfit (minus the socks/shoes). If it were about $10 cheaper, I would say I got my money's worth. The picture shown has different glasses. It also shows HEMS, but the costume has none. I guess no hems makes it easier to use again, but how many times do you wear the same costume for Halloween? The wig does fall out of shape- as do all eventually. Overall, my daughter and I were still pumped about being Velma for Halloween. I will say we had a problem with the glasses being broken on delivery, but within two days I received another pair(different of course but actually better).

I love this company. I have ordered several different costumes from this site, (for my child's school functions and Halloween). I actually tried to order from a different company this year and it was a horrible experience, so guess who I ended ordering from!! These guys again and they did not disappoint!! This costume was great.....I ordered size medium 8-10 for my seven year old. Fit true to size. I had to put some clothes underneath, but you usually do with Halloween costumes!! Love this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!
