My son is 3 and he dressed up as cookie monster. I made him a cookie out of cardboard and taped it around his wrist which made it even cuter. I bought the deluxe elmo for my 2 yr old daughter, and I wish I had purchased the elmo like this one. Even though it looks like less material, the deluxe is bulky and extremely HOT. Another thing, order UP in size, the 4T just fit my son, who wears a 3T-4T pant and shirt size normally.
