Title: Not the best costume...

So, the costume seemed like a great idea for the Halloween party I was attending. Unfortunately, I didn't try the costume on until a week before the party. I had to change a few things before I could wear it out in public.
1. The little white panties it came with were so big and baggy in the butt area, I just ended up tossing them and buying ruffled shorts to go underneath the skirt. I'm 5'3", about 115 lbs and have a decent sized bottom, but it was still so awful looking I couldn't imagine anyone wearing it. (and I bought a small)
2. The corset top was SO cheaply made, that when I tied the strings, the entire front ripped. It's all made practically of foam. So I ended up investing in a very nice, expensive red corset, which looked AMAZING w/ the outfit.
I ended up cutting all the hearts off the corset it came with, and pinned them onto the new corset. I used the straps of the corset and made a garter belt and bracelet with them.
The skirt was extremely short in the back, but as long as you wear some kind of boyshorts underneath, you should be okay. Also, the material of the skirt is pretty awful, so I'd recommend tucking in your corset so it doesn't completely rub your skin raw.
The other accesories it came w/ were quite adorable. The wings just have to be straightened out before you wear them. I kept smacking ppl in the face w/ the wings, so just try and watch out for them. They're bigger than I thought.
The headpiece stayed on pretty well, but I was wearing a wig, so I'm not sure how it stays w/o it.
All in all, if you invest in enough time to alter it, I suppose it would be worth it. The price is quite cheap, but then again, you get what you pay for...

This costume was adorable, and definetly one of a kind! The party I was at no one even resembled what I was, and although it looks a little risky to wear its not! I just had a baby this past january and it still looked good on me. I really liked the way it fit my body and would reccomend it to anyone.
