I love this costume. I actually got this costume to be Princess peach. It looks so good. This costume only fits a size 14/16 so if you are larger then this do not buy this costume. The price is great and in the stores you will find this costume for about $45.00 (trust me I have looked). I have went to buycostume.com for the last two years on my halloween costumes and also my fiance's costumes. I will keep coming back and shipping was right on time as they stated they would be...

I ordered the plus size because I was afraid the medium would be too short and a little tight (I am usually a large), but when I received this costume in the mail and tried it on, oh my gosh! Too big up top and I just did not think it was the money worth fixing with alterations. I was going to get the medium, but then I decided to go with a different style glinda costume. So definitely trust your instincts on this costume!!

Excellent project dress

I bought this to transform into a Princess Peach costume. The dress fits me well (I am a size 16 and 38DD) however the length was short and practically showed my butt, so I removed the white under 'poof' and that made a world of difference. Most 'plus size' costume are frumpy and akward, I was impressed with the fit on this after alterations :) I read other reviews that mentioned the crown...and yes- the crown included is garbage LOL

I purchased this costume to alter it to be princess peach as the only costume for her above a size 6 is a satin sack..i havent started the alterations just yet but from tring it on it is for sure a size 14-16 at most. I'm 5'6 and right at a 16 and lets just say i dont even need to bend for my butt to start showing. As many of the reviews said its def. poofy but thats the whole idea of Glinda...I mean look at her dress in the movie...its huge. I do plan on maybe trying to get a satin piece to sew in on the bottom...i dont mind short but I'd like to be able to wear it without having to tug it down all the time and its also prefered that I be able to bend over a bit without my whole world showing. I really think its unfortunate that they dont make enough cute costumes for girls who arent sticks..these companies would make a lot more money if they made just a few more sizes.

This costume is weird in some ways. The back of the bodice is a strange, almost see-through stretchy knit material, and the front is a satiny-looking fabric. Also, the back of the bodice is a different color pink than the front. That was kind of disappointing, but really-no one sees both sides of you at once, so I guess it's not the worst thing in the world. The skirt is really poufy, which could be good or bad-depending how you feel about a lot of volume on the bottom. I like the volume, myself.....no need for a petticoat. The headpiece is not worth even using-it's a flimsy piece of foam. To sum up, for $30 bucks, this costume will do the job.....but it's not great.
