great until you have to walk on soft ground
I loved these shoes and still have them to look at, and over a year later, still try to think of ways to fix them, that do not cost more than a new pair, but I had to walk on the lawn and halfway across one of the heels bent forward. Like there's a weak spot in the construction of the shoe, on the bottom of the shoe, just in front of the heel.
So, they were great until I had to walk on my lawn, which I didn't want to do because I didn't want to get them dirty, but they didn't have a chance to get dirty, before this happened. Since I didn't have a backup, I just sat at the party the rest of the night, not much fun.
So, I'm guessing if you stay on firm land, it'll be fine and in that case they are great comfortable shoes!
It would seem, with the way the heel went, it would've detached a bit from the back of the shoe but it didn't. It's all still in one piece, no tears, just the heel gives out if I try to walk in them.
