This is a cute costume, well designed and constructed....the problem is the sizing. As others have reported, the plus size is not calibrated properly. Do not attempt to put any body larger than a womens size 16 in this " PLUS " size Swashbuckler. The fabric will not withstand any "pull" at the seams. The sash is a disappointment, due to the raw edges, lacking any sort of a finished edge. This is not to say the costume isn't worth the price....IT IS.....it is adorable and very comfortable. Just as a rule of thumb on this "number", 1X-2X =womens size 16. If your figure is similar to that of the Model [pictured]..... you will "BLOW 'EM AWAY MATEY"

Cheap, too small

I got a 1x/2x and I'm usually an extra large. It barely fit and ripped in two places (those two "corset" lines down the front) on the first day I wore it. It's very cheaply made and gives the impression that the lace on the bottom is attached when it isn't. Wore a lacy petticoat under mine but it was implied since the bag only says that the boots and hat aren't included. Doesn't say anything about the petticoat/lace not being included.

Nice Costume

Purchased this costume for my sister-in law and she loved it. She wanted to be a pirate but on the last minute she changed her mind and decided to be a witch. This dress is good for either costume. She is a size 18/20 and it fit perfectly. The shipping was great, it arrived early than expected.

I didn't like it on me

I have a really big behind so I knew buying a costume would be a problem. When I saw this one saying it was 1X/2X, I became really excited thinking it was gonna have enough room to cover my bum. When I received it, it was waaaay too short on me for being a big girl. I ended up having to put leggings on under the dress just so that I could cover up because every time I even slightly bended, my panties were visible. Overall, I didn't like how this costume looked on ME, but I'm sure it would look great on a big girl with a not so big butt.

The costume itself is really cute, but the size is way off. I'm a size 12 and got a 16-18 and it was SO tight. Aside from that, style is flattering, cut a bit short....had to wear shorts with it and I'm only 5'1!
