I bought these hats for my son's 8th bday party..It was a detective party and all the kids received their hat upon entry along with their Top Secret briefcase filled with the necessary detective tools (flashlight, notepad, pencil, mag. glass, glass and mustaches for disguise...) The props were a hit and made great take home favors. Of course, we photographed each detective with their hat and 'gear' on, which we used in their 'party mission completion' certificate. The hats fit all the kids and that little extra to the theme. The price was also very good -- It was the lowest I found and the free shipping made it even better. Party City wanted $13 for the same hat, and Amazon, which I LOVE wanted too much for shipping. I lucked out with buycostumes and will consider them for future purchases.

Great Quality Product

I recently purchase several Sherlock Holmes Hats for my daughter's Secret Agent birthday party. The hats were the hit of the party! I was very pleased with the material quality and the smiles were worth a million!

Good hat, not a great color

The style was right, but the fabric color was a little too bright white for a Sherlock Holmes hat. Fine for my 8-year-old's costume.
