I got this in a 3/4, but it fits like a 1/2, just an FYI. The bottom half fits great but the top half was really tight on me. I think it was the way that it was cut because normally 3/4 is a bit big on me. No worries though. I wore a white tank top under it so my back was covered, made the anchor charm into a necklace, and sewed sparrow tattoo patches on the back. I did my hair and makeup Pinup style and got compliments all night. Te price is great and overall I am very happy with this costume.

I read the reviews for this costume and decided to play it safe and order the larger size - I'm a pretty solid 18 and the 3x/4x fit perfect. If you're a bit curvier, you might be okay still because it's got some give. For me, it was just tight enough to show off my curves, but not too clingy to show off my jelly rolls :) For the price, you really can't beat it though. I can't wait to take it out on the open sea! Only down size is the hat - it really wasn't made to fit on the head very well - and it doesn't help that I have kind of a large head. Still, the costume speaks for itself without the hat so I'm not terribly disappointed.

It was just too small ... odd considering I've bought other Leg Avenue outfits in the same size and they fit fine ... I love the idea of this, I love how cute it is ... I wish that the sailor bib was a bit longer in the back, just to cover my back a bit more ... and another two inches in length would make it perfect ... other than that, I'd keep it if it wasn't so small! ... also how the heck are you supposed to get the hat to stay on yoru head?

I got an early start to Halloween this year and couldn't resist this adorable costume on clearance. I own several other Leg Avenue costumes and this one fits and is made well, but is slightly tighter than my other Leg Avenue costumes. The material is a bit see through so I am fixing it by wearing a white petticoat and possibly a white tank underneath. Regardless, I'm very excited to wear this for Halloween this year. Leg Avenue and Buy Costumes are great!

Loved the costume..just wish i could have worn it.

When i came across this costume i fell in love..it was perfect. exactly what i was looking for. I was shopping last minute so i didnt have to many options available. I was able to order it and recieve it right before halloween. When i tried it on however, i wanted to cry. My perfect costume wasnt so 'perfect' after all. It was so small and didnt fit me. I was very disapointed and ended up giving it to someone else who is actually 2 sizes smaller than i am and it fit her perfectly.
