I bought this costume for Halloween. I wore it to one Halloween party on the 30th and another on the 31st. I'm from the South and am a big fan of Gone With The Wind, so I decided that Rhett Butler would be my costume this year. The outfit was craftily sewn together and designed, though I have to admit that the hat took some very careful and constant shaping. The hat could've been better designed, the picture does it justice. Other than that, the costume was class. I received several compliments on it. Although there were a few people that thought I was a gunslinger and they didn't know who Rhett Butler was, but there are always a few idiots in every crowd. I'd recommend this costume to anyone.

Waste of money

I bought this for my son and he would not wear it due to the issues. I would not recommend this costume. The hat showed the foam edges which were not black and looked cheap. The vest could be a little longer on the larger size. The coat would not lay flat no matter what we tried. For the price it should have been a lot nicer.

I purchased this costume for my husband to wear at my sister's 50th birthday party. He acutually like the costume since he loves to gamble and wear sport coats this was right up his ally. Costume was very impressive and should lasts a long while

Rhett Butler Returns!

Great costume for me this year! All I needed to do was use my theatrical make-up skills and make myself look like the "dashing" Clark Gable as Rhett Butler from the classic movie Gone With The Wind. I had no problems with the hat...in fact, I didn't have to use it to complete my "look". The costume was comfy and easy to figure out. I thought it was clever in ways the pieces were sewn together. Great idea for me this year. Classy, expensive looking. Highly recommended. Find yourself a "Scarlett" to pair up. I had fun!

This costume fits very well, the only disadvantage to this costume is the hat... it is really hard to shape like the picture.
