I bought these for our 4 year old to complete a red Spriderman suit we already had. This was a good purchaes for the over all look of Spidey. I was afraid they might not stay up but they do the job perfectly. They do have rubber texture on the bottoms for the no-slip factor, but not the best no-slip material. Seems to work alright for now though. The price is ok, but for what they are they could be sold for less. Very happy with the boots & my 4 year old is even happier.

They won't fit over any boots. They are made too tight and don't come apart. They look more like socks

This product fits well over shoes. It also looks great with the Spiderman costume!

I ordered this for my 6yr old Son to go with the Spiderman costume. He loves it, the quality is good, but I can't see how one would get them over boots. It has skid guards, so He wore them without boots and was fine, They could be a little longer I might add. He also asked me to cut the tags off from the inside of one of them, because "it bothers me" he said. I cut it off, and all was fine.

These are great as socks and if the child will be indoors only they are perfect. They have a little rubber non-skid bottom, but are not suitable for outside trick or treating alone. They are probably too small to fit over any sneaker type shoes, unless maybe a very small toddler size. Here is what I did: I got a size 11/12 red water shoe from walmart for about $5. For the school parade he just wore the water shoes alone and they looked fine. Since I had already bought these socks first I tried to make them work for our halloween night trick or treating. With the water shoe already on my son's foot I slowly and carefully worked the sock over the shoe. They are not all that stretchy. To call them a boot cover is very misleading. When I was done a lot of the silky part was under the sole of the water shoe. This part was very holy by the end of the night from waking on concrete, so if you want to try this method yourself this is a one time use only. The part that was the rubbery non-skid part did hold up without any holes. If I had to do over I would skip this product for outdoor use and just use the water shoes, although they do give a more polished look to the costume. If it was an indoor only party I would definitely by this product.
