My husband was Spock, so it went well with his costume. However, people didn't know who I was unless I was with him. Very comfortable.

This was about what I expected, I needed something fast and this was fairly cheap. I washed it to make it fit a bit better (I got a small but it bunched up oddly in some places). I wore it to a dance and it was really comfortable to dance in, the only thing is that the gold edging on the sleeves is kind of tight and it tore after it's first use, but only that the seem where it's sewn into the sleeve, not all the way around. Overall it's good for a few uses but if you want something to wear hardcore at a convention, this isn't for you.

I trusted the sizing chart on the webite an got a costume that was size 10-14. I'm a size 4. I was costumeless for Halloween. Not happy at all. The fact that it said size 10-14 right on the front of the package had me wondering why they couldn't have just put that on the website with the costume.

The dress fit kind of snug and the gold trim on the wrist area was tight (like I read in another review). I am normally a size 6 and sometimes an 8 - depending on some manufactures or styles (as in I am more comfortable in a size 8 skinny jean and a size 6 in regular low-rise boot cut). At any rate, the dress fit to form, so underwear lines could be seen. I wore boy shorts underneath because the dress is super short and I knew we would be dancing at the party. The dress did rise up and the shorts were cute and not tacky. Overall lots of fun and it received tons of compliments - "awesome", "oddly-sexy" - because of the nerd factor, "very hot"... I paired it with Spock ears and a phaser. I also bought a Tricorder from somewhere else and it was fantastic.
The size chart indicated that a medium would fit a waist of 27"-30" and bust of 36"-38". I beg to differ. I have a waist of about 29" and bust about 36" and the medium was like pajamas on me. That said, better to be too big than too small and carefully placed safety pins pretty much did the trick. I bought it on sale for $23 which was a good price, but I see it's up to almost $50 now, which is way too much for this quality of garment.
