Title: What a shame...
Date: Jun 18, 2009
Having purchased the Rubie's Vader Supreme a while back and being thoroughly impressed, I had high expectations when I ordered this costume. As I unpacked it, I was pleased with the mask, the hands and feet (which are HUGE, and could easily fit a shoe size 24!), as well as the bandoleer. So far, so good. Then I pulled out the body of the costume, and was so let down it's not even funny. The back, legs and right arm were perfect, but the chest and left arm were a mess. The chest had 3 very visible bald spots on it, and the entire front of the left arm was missing about 90% of the fur!! I was so mad, I called Rubie's directly to complain. For the cost of these Supreme Edition costumes, there should be a very strict quality control process, and yet clearly there is not. Rubie's said they were not sure what they could do as I did not buy it directly from them, and apologized for the problem. This was intended to be used in a Star Wars fan film, but now I don't know if I will get the replacement suit in time to make the shoot. I hope this was just a fluke, as other peoples experiences seem to have been far better.

This is a nice cosyume. You need to buy the standard, not the XL, unless you are about 6'-4" and very husky. The XL is very long and the mask is so roomy that you would have to fill part of it with paper so the eye holes fit close to the eyes. Runs BIG!
