This headpiece was made of a thick, durable rubbery plastic that moves and gives with the wearer's actions. It has the neat chain that starts in the middle front and hangs around the back that you can't see in the product pictures but you can see on Ahsoka on TV. It has an elastic connector under the chin to keep in on your child's head with lots of room there so it's not tight or binding on the chin. We priced the whole costume and only needed the headpiece, so this was a great buy for us. My daughter came up with the rest of her costume using real clothes.

I ordered this headpiece in additon to the Ashoka costume for my 4 yr old. The headpiece that came with the costume was difficult to stay on her head. The upgraded headpiece was much better. It completed the costume perfectly.
