They're a bit small for my hands (the thumb joint in particular and they don't quite cover the wrist. Still I should be fine if I wear plain black gloves underneath.

If you intend on wearing these gloves inside or in a warm area, then they will work. The fabric is rather thin so they will not make your hands hot. Looking at the photo they look very thick but they aren't. Ok quality. Ok price, which probably should be cheaper.

Short from the wrist but overall a great finish to my costume.

The gloves are SHORT. It ends at the wrist. So your skin is exposed when wearing the rest of the costume. It's not too bad, but there should be sizes for the gloves.
