Bought this for my son who is a star wars fanatic! I initially wanted to buy a cheaper version, but he liked all the fancy stuff on the front that makes Darth Vader look mechanical. The main reason I bought it was because the mask seemed much better quality and like it would last longer from play from a rough 7 yr old and so far this has been the case! It appears to be very durable and he loves it. I like that its not flat, but also that the mask doesn't go all the way around like a helmet because its summer time and it would be too hot and bulky. He never wears his storm trooper helmet for that reason. Overall pricey, but worth it if worn for play and not just Halloween.

My 5 year old son loves Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. He has had the light sabers for 2 years and he had been asking for a Darth Vader mask. We thought we would "step it up" and order the whole costume instead. His eyes just lit up and he loved it. It was great quality and a great price. We don't wait for Halloween to dress up in our house, cold Winter Days can be loaded with fun with Costume parties or theme days. When you look at the discount stores for Halloween Costumes they are the cheapest things ever and I am not talking about the price. lousy construction and just cheesy. This is our fifth purchase from buycostumes.com and I have yet to be disapointed! Great quality! The little Darth Vader that lives with us thinks so too......We also bought the children's gloves that went with this and they completed the look!
