My son is very happy with his light saber! Although we did see another one that has cooler features (also much more expensive), this one is great for the price and he is just as happy with it!

was expecting same quailty that you would get from local toy store,NO maybe it was my fault should always buy only what you can look at first! my son is very disappointed doesn't compare to the Yoda one he got for his B-Day from the TOY STORE and the Yoda one was cheaper!

This sword worked for the costume but my son kept getting frustrated with playing with it. The light is not very bright and it is hard to move the sword in and out.

Bought this as part of a set of costumes for my kid's birthday. While the other products were great, this light sabre was very cheaply made. The light switch was flimsy and often would stay on even when you turn it off. The light is not strong enough to illuminate the "blade". Most importantly, the "blade" breaks very easily and does not collapse easily. Do not buy this product. Go to a party store with toys or Toys'R'Us and get the light sabres there. They are more sturdy, and while they do not have the lighting effect, the "blade" does not break, it collapses smoothly--snapping in place, and there is a belt clip as well.
