My son finally after days and days of changing his mind about what he wanted to be selected this costume. I was a little concerned since it was more expensive than what my other children were getting but he's the middle kid so I took pity on him and got it anyway. The fabric is thin which is good for us where I live because it tends to be warm even on Halloween although should we have an unually cool evening or you live in a cool area it might be difficult to add a layer underneath as the costume fits snuggly against the body. I read the comment about the mask having amber colored lenses but the company must have changed that since he ordered because my son's lenses are clear. I also haven't had any problems with our velcro tabs. I'm happy with the product and my 5 year old is over the moon so I guess we'll have a great time come Halloween night!

I read a review that the custome ran small so I ordered a larger size. The child must have been huge because the larger size was to form. Too big for my grandson so I will take it in and up. The costume on the web shows finished edges. Not what I received. I will sew the costume and finish what I thought would be done. On a postive note, I will take out the in and up so he will be able to wear it next year.

We bought this costume for my oldest son, when he was 5, for Halloween. He loved it then, wore it until he absolutely couldn't fit in it any more. Our younger son wore it for Halloween when he was 6... still in great shape. The mask is hard plastic, not easily broken. We still have the costume and nearly every time they have friends over someone puts it on. It is still in great shape. My oldest wants to be Darth Vader again this year. Guess I will be buying a second one. :) I am happy knowing the 19.99 I spend will not be wasted.
