This was a fantastic toy blaster. I knew the one I was getting was NOT the one pictured, but the "A New Hope" version of Han Solo's blaster - it looked nearly identical to the movie save for the neon blue and neon orange colour. I painted it myself and it made a perfect addition to my Han Solo costume. The noises it made was the icing on the cake. Not what was expected

The picture shows the gun that Han Solo used in Episode 4, which was the gun I was hoping to get when I purchased. However I got the blaster with a scope that was in Episode 5. Since this was a last minute costume, I went ahead with my spray painting and made the gun work but I wish the picture actually showed the real product I was buying rather than something else. Shipping was really faster however.

Here is a pic of the received weapon prop once we painted it ~ it is indeed a Han Solo weapon. It is one style that he used in A New Hope. The picture on this site is from the Empire Strikes Back episode. The biggest difference is the top scope. After all, “Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.”

Fun prop, going to spray paint

The gun met my expectations. It was accurately described on the site and with batteries makes a good, but weak noise. I plan to spray paint it black to better match my costume.

Good prop for costume, just don't have the holster. what good is Han Solo just holding a blaster.
