I bought four of these lightsabers to go with our jedi costumes for Halloween this year. My sons are 3 and 1. If we were going to have swords I thought it would be best to get something soft enough that I wouldn't have too many painful accidents. I have been so happy with them. They were easy to blow up even for me. My kids (and me) can play with them so far no problems with the occasional hit on the head.

The lightsabers arrived promptly. Only 2 lightsabers did not light up properly. Unfortunately there were no more in stock, but the company promptly refunded the price of the 2 unusable lightsabers. They will be great party favors!

I was a little skeptical at first and wondered if they would be cheap or not stay inflated. But after reading the other reviews, I bought a dozen for my 5 yr old sons Star Wars party and they were a hit. They really light up and seem pretty durable. The kids were all delighted with them and they held up, even after some serious pummeling.

I ordered 30 of these inflatable light sabers for my sons birthday party .... 10 did not light up. When I received the replacement light sabers 3 out of those 10 did not light up. HOWEVER, I will say that the buycostumes.com customer service is AMAZING, they quickly replaced the items, overnight shipping, and then when the replacement items didn't work they quickly credited my account. They were nice, apologetic, and efficient. I would highly recommend buycostumes.com but would not recommend this product. If you do order them, make sure to order extra. The ones that did work are great fun!

Best. Party Favor. Ever.

My son decided on a Star Wars theme for his 6th birthday and I stumbled upon these accidentally and ordered them immediately. When they arrived, I nearly fell over from shock. I had absolutely no idea these babies actually *light up* when you put slight pressure on the handle. How cool can you get? For less than $3 a piece, I'm going to make a dozen kids crazy-happy and be the coolest party mom ever. The other thing I really love about these is that, being inflatable, they're (reasonably) harmless. So if the kids want to play Jedi, they can whack each other and I don't have to worry about anyone getting hurt. I'm still going to make a "no faces" rule, but I think they'll do just fine. Going to be hard to top these next year.
