This is the coolest costume ever! Now here's a full proper review. The Good - Looking this good has it's perks! Wearing the suit in public... You are an instant celebrity! This costume got me several phone numbers and I didn't even have to ask. It keeps you very warm and dry; I walked about a 100m (300ft) in the pouring rain and was only mildly damp under the costume when I got inside. The plastic is very sturdy and can withstand a fair amount of punishment except the helmet which is probably the thinest, but that's a good thing. The chest piece is very accomodating to large people but the arm vanguards are really tough and if you can take a fair amount of punisher while inside. While I will not reccomend people test it while wearing it, you won't have to worry about hurting yourself. The Bad - It's tough being an Imperial Stormtrooper. The cost is fairly hefty but it's one of those special buys and it'll keep in the long run and you can always resell I'm sure there's some star wars fan will to take it off your hands easily. Your vision is extremely impaired. DO NOT DRIVE WEARING THIS. As it also impairs your movement. I read the other reviews and thought they were joking... they were not! I almost lost my car cause my leg pieces locked up and I couldn't stop accelerating. It is HOT under that helm. You will sweat a lot and I would advise drinking plenty of water... but then comes problem number four... the undersuit has one zipper... at the back. Getting into the costume takes about 15-20 minutes WITH HELP. Without you can probably do it in about 30mins. Takes about 7 minutes to take off... that can be a long 7 minutes when you have to go. The bicep pieces are made of really ridget plastic and while I'm not big I do work out and my biceps didn't like the constant pressure after a few hours but then again I just took them off at that point. The chest piece & back piece occasionally come apart at the velcro but not really a major issue. The worst thing are the thigh/calf plates. They can lock if you're not careful and walking up or down stairs is really hard. Take your helmet off and be careful. After some practice it'll be easy BUT don't take the risk at first. The Final Say. Is it all worth it? Yes! This is one of the best buys I've ever made. I will probably ask to be buried in the suit just for the LOL factor. The suit can be easily modified but you should make sure you know how to cut plastic or use a glue gun. The zipper easily installed. Overall. Well worth the money spent and I got fantastic delivery from buycostume straight to my door in less than four days. Get the costume... spend 2 full hours walking around in it to get the feel. Make any adjustments you want. Then stun the world and remember it's for the EMPIRE! =)

Excellent costume, makes you look exactly like the troopers from the original star wars movies and identical to TV geeks that have these costumes themselves that you've always envied. I strongly recommend this purchase for any avid star wars fans that like authentic replica collectors items. Delivery took the full 12 business days though so if you're in a hurry the extra cash for the express delivery is well worth the money. If you're a shorty the armour rides up a bit and makes it difficult to fit snug but manageable and doesn't get too annoying. Impossible to sit down and if you drop something forget trying to retrieve it, lol. All in all a great purchase and I have a lot of fun with it.

While the idea of being a stormtrooper for the night is appealing, this costume is entirely to difficult to wear. It requires help to get into, is extremely limiting to your movements, and prohibits sitting. The quality of material was OK but the helmet is unwearable b/c it's unadjustable and vision through the plastic lenses is like looking through Alice's wormhole. Other than for a photo op, I would not recommend this costume.

i bought this item thinking it was going to take a long long time to arrive, seeing as though im in Australia. but no! it came in four days later! the jump suit and gloves are made of fine material and could fit most people. being 19 i am quite short for the suit but it still fits over me, just making it even more hard to move.... the leg pieces lock your legs if you try and sit down but still adds to the comical aspect of the armour. best for just randomly poping in and out of lectures to the dismay of the professor involved, its a great costume top quality, only thing is it costs a whole bunch for what its made out of. yet thumbs up from me :D

Looks awsome on me. The only complaint I had was that the helmet wasn't as good quality as the rest of the armor. Otherwise looks pretty good. I've gotten lots of compliments. Still haven't figured out how to get the costume on by myself. Totall needs a spare hand.
