I'm 4'11" and this dress was too short on me! It looked like a long (but not quite long enough) shirt. It is a roomy fit, just way to short.

Title: Cool, Light, but shorter than pictured.

I ordered this plain costume deliberately, trying to stay cool while working at a school "Fun Night". I've been miserable working in the past and while this costume might not have been as elaborate as other costumes, it definately did the trick for keeping me cool.... Several things to mention though: 1st, it is probably 6 inches shorter than pictured. I am not quite 5'4" and the longest "tatters" only reached the top of my knees which means it was open in places near mid-thigh. Since I was going to be sitting doing face-painting, I wore long bike shorts over my red fishnets so I wouldn't have to worry about the dress riding up. 2nd, it is made of very light fabric which suited my purposes very well, but if you live somewhere cool, you might freeze to death in it! I went as a "Silly Witch" so as not to scare the younger kids. I paired it with the Asian Fusion Wig (red), red fishnets and the Hazel shoes. I didn't even bother with the hat, but will mention that the band didn't seem to lay right & you'll need to stuff it to make it stand up. Overall, this "Tattered Witch" dress contributed to the most comfortable evening I've ever spent in costume! P.S. The pictures I tried to take of myself in the mirror are all weird, but I'll attach one anyway. How DO you take a picture of yourself without being in a strange pose or your arm/hand in the way?!?!?
