When I bought this I was being a bit hasty and didn't closely look at the product description. I was thinking I could actually put a drink in it, but obviously this isn't possible. Thinking it would be a pain to carry the pole around all night, I tried pinning it to my gown and taping the end to a fake IV site in my hand; this didn't work well as the tubing was too short.

Not a great product. Really top heavy and who wants to hold on to a pole all night? Good for pictures, then throw it away. Does not hold any alcohol and cannot be "rigged" to do so. Overall not practical or usefull at all. Waste your money elsewhere.
