This costume is good quality for the price you are paying. Looks lovely on. I'm very petitie so the shoulders tend to slide down, but I tend to be a bit smaller than a standard size. Overall very happy with the product

gorgeous fabric, well made, nice fit

It wasn't as good as I was expecting it to be: - made of cheap shimmery material that sheds on everything - some poor stitching - the gown was made of thin material (as in pretty see through) - crown was falling apart when I got it (had to super glue the beads back on and bent out of shape) - a bit tight in the upper arms (think sausage links) - maybe it was just me but the top half didn't fit quite right (ended up sitting off the shoulders) While the costume didn't quite meet my expectations, once I got over it, it was still really fun to wear. Not quite worth the price I paid for it though.

The dress is beautiful. The arms are too small and you need to specify that this is not made for big breasted people. With all of the material being stretchy except for the lace on the sleeves only women with very small arms can wear this dress. I was very dissapointed. Not everyone is tiny and petite. I gave my sizes which let you know that I am not a tiny person but I'm not fat either. I am of an average build. I will make some alterations on the sleeves and wear it as I don't have time to order another one or make one myself. I do not think I will be ordering from your company again.

I'll split this review into two parts to reflect the two things that you'll receive with your purchase: the gown & the tiara. As an overarching comment before I begin, this costume is supposed to recreate the feel of Arwen's "coronation gown" (the dress she wears at the end of Return of the King, in the movie, in Gondor during Aragon's ascension to the throne). 1. The Gown - 4 out of 5 - I bought the gown with the expectation that I would receive a mass-produced version of the gorgeous dress that Arwen wore. I looked into some custom-made options and although the workmanship and attention to detail was excellent in almost every case, I was unwilling to spend over $250 on a simple indulgence. It was with a bit of trepidation that I ordered this dress, terrified that it would look ugly or ridiculously inaccurate once it arrived. Thankfully, that was not the case. I was truly pleasantly surprised by the workmanship. The sleeves are double-layered and drapey (like in the picture) and the lace they used on the forearms and the chest area is flowery but not loud and quite pretty. The dress itself is made of stretchy-velvet (there is a seam running along your back and both sides). Warning! This is a "standard" size dress, and I have a very small body type but I found that I can still wear this dress comfortably -- I just have to sew in the shoulders on each side a little bit so that it doesn't slip off when I move my arms too excitedly. 2. The tiara - 2 out of 5 - this was very cheaply made and really a bit of a let down. Its a glorified headband with combs attached to the ends and large round silver beads (think mardi-gras necklace beads) that dot the surface. The hanging silver strings are exactly that -- silver string tied to the headband. They were wrinkled from shipping and after trying on the tiara and bending it (there's flexible metal wire that loops through some of the beads) and then trying it again and still hating it, I've decided that I'm going to discard this prop entirely. The dress looks very delicate (and gives off a princess vibe) and this tiara looks crude and a bit cheap.
