This is by far the worst Halloween costume I've ever purchased. The costume is not even close to resembling the picture. The mask is some cheap cardboard-plastic type of combination and is a totally different style from the mask in the picture. The jacket is made of some type of polyester(very far from cotton or comfort) material with shiny metal buttons that are hanging onto the coat by the thinest of threads. Its the same jacket used for vampire costumes. The black undershirt is only the front side of a shirt and velcro is used to make the collar and attach the shirt to the jacket. The gloves are also cheaply made consisting of some silky material that causes your handsto sweat. But by far the worst part is the tie. The tie for this Halloween costume is entirely too long and is not the tie from the picture. The tie in not a real tie or a clip on but a tie with a velcro sticky that does not hold at all. In order to make this costume work I had to go out and purchase a better mask, a decent set of gloves, cut the tie, and tape the tie to the costume. I really needed to get another jacket, but far too much money had already been spent. Long story short this is an over-priced, very cheaply made costume that does not resemble anything close to the picture. I would not recommend "The Spirit" costume to anyone. If you purchase this costume you will be extremely disappointed

Coat, hat and mask were fine, but not for the price. The gloves were replaced because too large. The shirt/bib was replaced because it didn't fit right and looked tacky. The tie was replaced because it looked cheap and is velcroed to the shirt/bib that did not work. You are better off buying individual parts separately, because it would look a great deal better and probably cheaper.

Firstly, the photograph of the costume shows different gloves and mask from what I actually received. The mask itself doesn't look so bad so much as the texture is kind of irritating on your skin after extended wear. The gloves were OK, I guess, but were too big for my hands, and I ordered a small. Secondly, the shirt isn't even a full shirt, only the front of one, and the tie isn't a full tie--it's just the bottom part, and it connects to the "shirt" using a Velcro dot. You are better off wearing your own black collared shirt and purchasing a red tie. Thirdly, the quality of the construction was terrible. The buttons on the coat were literally dangling by threads, and two of the buttons actually ripped right off the jacket through normal use. I'm aware this may have just been the particular costume I ordered, but given the overall feel of the costume, I doubt it. The jacket itself (aside from the buttons) is OK-looking, but the photo makes it look to be higher quality and more cloth-like than it actually is. The hat is cheap and cardboard-y, but like the jacket, it looks alright. The boots, as you may have noticed, are sold separately. They're not too bad, but they did get wrinkled/creased pretty easily from just walking in them.

This wasn't my first choice for a costume but when you're running out of time... What do you do... Way overpriced for this. $80 for a cheap trench coat and the mask isn't the same as the picture, neither are the gloves. And the worst thing has to be the shirt that comes w/ it which is just the trenche's front so it's not even a whole shirt. I'm definitely returning this and it's too big.
