The mask of this costume is extremely uncomfortable as it is made from a burlap sack. Also, it doesn't fit on the head well and the hat does not fit on top of the mask. We had to pin the hat to the mask. Very disappointed.

I bought this back in 2010 and have used it 2 years running now. Well, the mask and shirt, anyway. I bought some overalls instead which worked out pretty well. Anyway, I had over a dozen kids each year REFUSE to approach the porch who insisted on crying on the sidewalk instead of getting candy. At a costume party at a bar I even was faced with the question "Why do you look so scary? It's Halloween!" The mask is a face-formed piece of plastic fused to some burlap. It's a bit darker than the picture, but is EXTREMELY creepy! I had to cut away some of the plastic insert so it wouldn't poke me. The burlap peeled off of the plastic without ripping. There's mesh over the eyes and mouth, so from further away people can't see your eyes or mouth, but you can still see. I wear glasses, but had some prescription goggle inserts I was able to tape to the inside of the mask so I could see for a few hours. If need be, you can cut holes in the mesh to smoke or stick a straw through. Smoke bellowing out of the Scarecrow's stitched mouth did kind of add to the creepiness factor. The "shirt" and "pants" are a very thin material, so you'll probably get cold if you're outside for a while and that's all you chose to wear. Overall, this is one creepy costume. If your goal is to scare people of any age, grab this one!

I was very excited when I checked out the wide variety of costumes, and more excited when I placed my order for a scarecrow costume. When the box arrived, I ripped it open and found a mobster's hat and a rubber cowboy on a saddle, meant for being strapped to a dog. Um, NOT what I ordered. They were very helpful at getting the order corrected and arranging for return shipment; giving them high marks for fixing the issue. The correct shipment arrived a week later. The hat is extra small, won't fit the scarecrow at all. The mask is extra large; took some modifications to make it work because the mask sat 3 inches away from my face; makes it hard to see, huh? The shirt sleeves length was perfect but the waist line was way above my waist; the pants were meant for a little person. I still like the variety offered so MIGHT try something else thru them again, but then again, guessing there is more than one costume website out there, and the next one I try might have a costume that actually fits.

My boyfriend bought this costume for our Halloween party and i read the reviews before the purchase. I know what he was getting himself into. The hat was too small, the pants were a little bit too low from the waist to the crotch (we could see his boxers). The colors were to pale so i got clothing paint and sprayed it darker. Over all, i am pleased with the purchase and i was happy to have read the reviews first or else we would have been very disappointed.

I was extremly happy when I purchased this costume. When I recieved the costume it was quite nice. It was more than I expected it to be. So I would recomend this site to other people that are interested in purchasing different costumes.
