material feels thin, thought it would have been a bit nicer quality, they feel like an unlined slipper, I don't think they could be for everyday use, thin

Wanted an affordable alternative to custom made boots for Renaissance Boots that were constructed of man made materials (synthetic leather/suede, no animal products). Although they looked OK coming out of the box. I soon realized how cheap the material they used on this is . The top sueded fabric is separating from the under-lining creating strange looking wrinkles and I have not even worn them out of the house yet. I've only worn them for 20 minutes to make sure they would not cause blisters or what not. I am hoping once I get some dirt on them they will hide some of these imperfections, but I am not optimistic. Unfortunately with very limited options for vegetarian friendly RenFaire gear I am stuck with these for now.

I walked around in these boots all day with my kilt and ,my feet did not hurt one bit. While they are not the best quality, they make good costume boots for a weekend out a Renaissance Faire. Unfortunately the soles are so thin, I had to wear them with thick socks and will have to bve replaced soon. All in all, they served their purpose well, hard as they are to tie up on your own.

Boots had an authentic look to them. They were very comfortable and looked as good as more expensive brands.
